Georgian Terrace House Renovation
Edwardes Square, London
The property is a Grade II Listed terraced house on the west side of Edwardes Square. It was built around 1812 as part of a garden square development. The house exterior maintains most of its original Georgian character, while the interior has been largely altered in the 1970s without much of the original, historic fabric. Our design seeks to bring back some of the original character of the property, while also bringing in new spaces, materials and details that are balanced as both contemporary with a traditional feel. Important to our work was the reconfiguration of the stair and the ground floor to provide an open, connected and flowing kitchen, living and dining plan.
